Резюме

This article investigates the current trends of the global spread of democratic institutions and the difficulty of their rooting in nonWestern societies. It is shown that the prospects for global democratization complicate the existing structure of international relations, asymmetry of democratization in different regions of the world. Widespread democratic reforms in many countries do not mean smooth development of this political phenomenon. Key factors that in the future will depend on the stability and the spread of democracy is economic development and political leadership. As powerful structural factors that facilitate the expansion and deepening of democracy is also social development, access to global wealth and education.
